AI × BCG × eSports

We want to make every game we develop at AI Games to become an eSport.

Year after year, the eSports market expands, and by 2028, it is expected to be nearly four times the size of today's market.

eSports are receiving more attention every year, and eventually, they will be viewed as a form of competition like traditional sports.

Furthermore, eSports fever is already on the rise, and eSports games are becoming more accessible than ever before.

The following figures show monthly users and revenues for the most popular eSports games:

- League of Legends

Cumulative sales over $11.8 billion

180 million monthly users

-Fortnite

Cumulative sales over $20 billion

80 million monthly users

-Apex Legends

Cumulative sales over $2 billion

65 million monthly users

-VALORANT

Undisclosed revenue ($32 million per skin sold)

18 million monthly users

Furthermore, games that would be e-Sports-ized basically sell skins, but in 2020 Fortnite charges $102 per person per year, and men in the US buy an average of $326 worth of clothing per year.

So, assuming that basic billing is done for skins, digital fashion spending within Fortnite alone is up to one-third of the physical world.

"Becoming an eSport = high quality and interesting" means that AI Games' games will strive to become eSports, games that will pique the interest of the entire world.

AI and eSports are also inextricably linked, as AI can be used to balance games and address issues such as bugs and exploits, thereby making games suitable for eSports.

AI in the future will make it simpler to create games, and a variety of games are anticipated to be mass-produced, but we think that e-sports games will ultimately survive and become mainstream.

As a result, we intend to convert all future BCG releases into eSports, resulting in more enthusiastic and well-liked games.
